More and more we have been hearing about Stormy Daniels in the news. We all probably have a basic rundown of who she is and why she’s been in the news recently. But if you don’t, let me get you up to speed.
To be quite blunt, she is a porn star. She has gotten a wave fame from allegedly having an affair with the current President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump himself. To avoid this scandal getting out, Daniels was offered $130,000 worth of ‘hush’ money from his personal lawyer, Michael Dean Cohen. It also has been alleged that Daniels was threatened with physical harm to make sure she was silent. This has been making headlines recently because Daniels is currently suing Trump to void the contract she signed right before the 2016 election that required she would not speak about the alleged affair they had. For those of you who think you know Stormy Daniels, we are here to tell you what you don’t know about her.
1. Her Real Name
I mean can we really be surprised that “Stormy Daniels” is not her real name? You’re only named Stormy if you’re a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family. Her given name is Stephanie Clifford.
2. She hasn’t always been a porn star…
Before entering the film scene, Stormy first had a career as a stripper. She began stripping at the age of seventeen in her hometown of Baton Rouge. She stripped for four years before becoming a feature entertainer.
3. She is not only a star, but a director.
At last years adult-film awards shows, Daniels was nominated for “Director of the Year”. She is currently working with a company called Digital Playground, which has been functioning for over 25 years and is considered to be one of the most dominate studios in the porn industry.
4. She is a Hall of Famer
There is pretty much a Hall of Fame for everything. Stormy was inducted into the Adult Video News Hall of Fame in 2014. At least she’s getting credit for the ~hard~ work she is putting in.
5. She has starred in non-sex related films
It’s not only about sex for Stormy. She appeared in both “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and “Knocked-Up”. Okay, so maybe she does stick to sex, but at least in these films it’s cleaner!
6. She has interest in government
Stormy had seriously considered running for Senate as a representative of Louisiana in 2009. She claims that she decided to do this because she thought she would be preferable to their current senator at the time who was up for re-election, Republican Dan Vitter. I’m sure she wouldn’t have a problem winning over the male demographic.
7. She keeps her thongs in a freezer?
As strange as this is, it is most certainly true. Daniels claims she does this so that she can scrap candle wax off of them more easily. We can only imagine what the candle wax is for…
