Whether your commute to school is a 45-minute drive or 6-hour plane ride, there’s going to be those special things from home that we are always going to miss while we’re away at college.
1.Our beds
Even if our beds at school have 15 mattress pads and the coziest comforter possible, there’s something about our beds at home that will always be our favorite place to sleep.
2.The town diner
Even though Chip’s may have the best pancakes ever, we can’t help but miss the diners we grew up going to in our hometowns.
3.Our pets
Who wouldn’t miss snuggling up to your childhood pet before going to bed?
4. Home cooked meals
Sometimes, all we want is to hear our parents yell, “Dinner!” and know that we’re about to eat a non-barone meal that was freshly cooked just for us.
5.Family barbecues
On a nice, sunny day it’s hard not to picture our family and friends all together, grilling up food, playing games, and enjoying each other’s company.
6. Our laundry machines
Whenever it’s time to do laundry at school, we can’t help but miss our own clean, free laundry machines at home – much easier than Laundry View.
7.Our moms
Even though we’re supposed to be independent while away at school, there’s no denying that we miss our moms taking care of us when we’re sick, bringing us shopping when we’re sad, or just hanging out with us when we’re bored.
No matter how much we love our school, there are some pieces of home that we just cannot forget about.
