7 Things I Wish I Knew Before Coming to Fairfield

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

I can still vividly remember my first day of orientation at Fairfield U; flash-forward to almost 4 years later, and I can’t believe that it’s my last year here. To help those considering coming to Fairfield and those who have just arrived, here are 7 things I wish I knew before I came to Fairfield and became a Stag.

1.Not all the friends you make within the first month will last until senior year, and that’s okay.

2.You will have more free time than you expect, so try and join some clubs.

3.Unless you really are a morning person, do NOT take 8 am classes.

4.The town of Fairfield is great, so take some time to explore it.

5.Use notebooks and take handwritten notes to do better in your classes.

6.Go to the beach every chance you get (This may be the only time in your life when the beach is only a 10-minute drive away!)

7.Enjoy your four years because you’ll be a senior before you know it!
