The 7 Stages of Going Through Bachelor Withdrawals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

The only thing that can possibly get us through the “Monday blues” is the Bachelor. Between the endless drama and dreamy cast it is no wonder collegiettes are obsessed. But now that the Bachelor is over and Nick and Vanessa can run off into the sunset together, us collegiettes are going through some serious withdrawals. Here are the stages that all bachelor fans are going through.

Stage 1: Denial

It is Monday and even though you know the Bachelor is over and a proposal has happened, you are still hoping it isn’t. Maybe there is another after the final rose show? Us collegiettes just are not ready to let go.

Stage 2: Consistently Talking About It

“I can not believe Nick did not pick Raven, they obviously had such good chemistry”. Now that the Bachelor is over, all collegiettes can do now is talk about it to everyone we know. It was just such juicy season; can you blame us?

Stage 3: The Return of Hating Monday’s

The one thing all collegiettes looked forward to on Monday’s was the Bachelor. Now that Bachelor Monday’s are no longer a thing, Monday’s go back to officially being the worst. Let’s all agree to just get rid of Monday’s all together.

Stage 4: Stalking Via Social Media

Once the bachelor is over, you are still craving anything Bachelor so you follow all the contestants, obviously. What is Corrine doing? Are Nick and Vanessa still together? We need answers, thank you social media for providing them.

Stage 5: Putting Bids On Who We Want On Bachelor In Paradise

The second best show ever, is the Bachelor spinoff “Bachelor In Paradise”. It is a show with all the best-rejected contestants. Fingers crossed we get to see Corrine in all her glory!

Stage 6: Acceptance

The Bachelor may be over but we have finally managed to get over it. Monday’s are not as hard and we find a new show to binge watch every Monday. Thank god.

Stage 7: Excitement

Now that the Bachelor is over we can finally look forward to the next season! Rachel Lindsay, we are patiently waiting for your season to air!
