Whether you come from Irish decent or not, everyone celebrates St. Patrick’s Day. St. Patty’s Day has become a universal holiday for just about everyone, regardless of your nationality. Here are just a few reasons this festive holiday absolutely rocks.

If you are looking for an excuse to drink lots and lots of beer, St. Patty’s Day is your go-to.
2. Day Drinks and Parades
St. Patrick’s Day gives us a reason to march around town in the middle of the day while drinking, because it’s probably 5 o’clock somewhere.
3. Corned Beef and Cabbage
Honestly, who wants to eat cabbage? Many of us despise the smelly wanna-be vegetable that looks like lettuce. However, when it is paired with corned beef, it’s a whole different story.

No matter what day of the week St. Patrick’s falls on, the holiday gets carried on through the weekend, giving you more time to celebrate.
