6 Breakfast Items for the Collegiette Who “Doesn’t Have Time For Breakfast”

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

There is no denying that the life of a collegiette is beyond busy. Between classes, clubs, internships, and friends, it’s hard to make time for everything. Sometimes, it’s even hard to make time for the most important meal of the day: breakfast.

Whether you’re waking up super early to hit the gym, get to class, or start your commute to work, there are so many ways to have a breakfast that will give you the fuel you need to get through your day. Here are 6 breakfast items that are perfect for the on-the-go collegiette!

1. RX Bars

RX Bars are a personal fave of mine. I ~always~ have one in my bag! RX Bars natural protein bars that have a foundation of egg whites, nuts, dates. These protein bars come in so many flavors and are so yummy that you’ll never want to skip breakfast again!

2. Cold Brew

This has been my secret weapon this year! I’m just as obsessed with coffee as the next collegiette, but when I have a busy day ahead of me, the last thing I want to do is wait in line for it! Keeping cold brew and any milk/creamer of your choice in your fridge is going to save you time and money. Get ready for the day, pour your coffee into a cute tumbler, and head out the door!

3. Noosa Yoghurt

If you skip breakfast because you don’t want to eat anything too heavy, Noosa is perfect for you! Noosa Yoghurt is made in small batches to ensure big flavor. Whether you prefer yoghurt as it is, or opt for the Noosa Mates that include yummy mix-ins like chocolate and nuts, there is a Noosa for everyone! These little containers are perfect grab-and-go breakfast.

4. Fruit

Now this may seem like the obvious answer here, but you’d be surprised how many people skip breakfast instead of starting their day off with something as simple as fruit! Whether you’re living in a dorm room, apartment, or house, fruit is super easy to keep around. Having a banana with peanut butter or a fresh cup of strawberries is a great way to get some energy in the morning.

5. Overnight Oats

Overnight oats could not make breakfast time any easier! Just add any milk of your choice into the container at night and put it in the fridge. When you wake up, you’ll have a delicious, healthy breakfast that you can take with you to class! Overnight oats are a good source of protein, which is exactly what every collegiette needs to start her day!

6. Juices & Smoothies

If you’re really not into the whole breakfast thing, putting a juice or smoothie in your bag is a good start. There are so many juices and smoothies to choose from at your local grocery store, just be mindful of the amount of sugar some may have! But opting for a bottled juice/smoothie is an easy way to incorporate servings of fruits and veggies into your morning routine!
