5 Ways to Galentine’s Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

Instead of wondering why you don’t have boyfriend this Valentine’s day, spend time with the girls who love you every day of the week!

1.Have a movie and wine night

This is the perfect way to bond with your girls. Pop in a movie whether it’s a rom-com, tear-jerker or action movie, they all go perfectly with a nice glass of wine!

2. Group dinner date

Dress up and treat yourselves to a nice dinner in town. It’s a great way to spend time with your girls and make sure you don’t go hungry!

3. Spa day

Spend a day in your jammies, painting your nails and, if you’re ambitious enough, giving each other facemasks. What’s a better way to spend the day than pampering yourself with your best girlfriends?

4. Plan an all night, epic dance party

Make a play list of your favorite songs and just go wild! Nothing is better than singing and dancing with your girls.

5. Host a Galentine’s Day gift exchange

Who says you need to have a boyfriend to get a gift? Have your friends pick a name from a hat and buy that person a gift. Think Secret Santa in February.

Valentine’s Day is a holiday after all, what better way to spend it than with your true loves!
