It’s that time of year again! And by that time of year I mean time for turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and tons of home cooked food. In order to do this holiday right we all need an outfit that does two things: allows us to go back for seconds (or maybe even thirds) and is a festive look. Here are 5 easy outfit ideas for Thanksgiving that are comfortable, cute, and look great in all the family photos! From going to see relatives, or just staying in with your family, we’ve got you covered.

Outfit 1: Corduroy Skirt

Corduroy skirts like the one above are a must-have for fall. This simple, feminine look is easy to pull off with a black and white fitted striped top and black suede booties. This look could also work with a solid fitted top if you prefer, and should be paired with minimal jewelry.

Heathered Striped Top, Forever21, $12.90

Brya Corduroy Skirt, Brandy Melville $26.00

Steve Madden Rozamere Gore Booties, Steve Madden, $109.00

Outfit 2: Shift Dress

Jasmine Crochet Dress, Francesca’s, $44

Lauren Ralph Lauren Mariah Riding Boots, Macy’s, $179

Leafy Layered Necklace, Francesca’s, $22

If you want to dress up for the holiday, but still want room for plenty of food, this look is for you. This maroon shift dress is a perfect color for this season and you’re guaranteed to get a ton of compliments on it.  Pair it with a layered gold necklace and dark brown riding boots for the perfect, food-baby friendly look.

Outfit 3: T-Shirt Dress

Long Sleeved T-Shirt Dress, Cotton ON, $10

Openweave Scarf, Madewell, $58

BCBG Keenan Lace-Up Wedge Platform Booties, Macy’s, $70

If you still want to wear a dress, but be a little more comfortable and cozy, this look is perfect you. Pair a grey t-shirt dress with a plaid scarf for some fall flair. Put on some suede lace-up wedges to dress up this look a little bit (I’m personally OBSESSED with the pair shown above).

Outfit 4: Peplum Top

Fontaine Lace Peplum Top, Francesca’s,  $38.00

Faux Leather Leggings, Zara,  $39.90

Steve Madden ‘Eleanorr’ Ballet Flat, Nordstrom, $79.95

Jacqueline Rose Tone Stainless Steel Watch, Fossil, $135.00

Getting dressed up doesn’t always mean wearing a dress. This lace peplum top is beautiful, especially paired with leather leggings and these crisscross flats from Steve Madden. Add a rose gold watch for an extra touch of elegance.

Rolled Turtleneck Sweater, J.Crew Factory, $52.50

BP Crystal Cluster Statement Necklace, Nordstrom, $24.00

Rinse Wash Midrise Skinny Jean, J.Crew Factory, $68.00

Sedgwick Ballet Flat, Tory Burch, $169.00

This look is great if you’re staying in on Thanksgiving, but still want to be put together. Turtlenecks are back and better than ever, so why not rock one this Thanksgiving? Pair it with a statement necklace, like the crystal one above, tan flats and your favorite pair of dark wash jeans.
