5 Movies/TV Shows You Should Check Out on Disney+

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

The streaming world, as we know, it changed with the release of the long-anticipated streaming service, Disney+. With all of the content, Disney has acquired over the years; it can be intimidating as to where to start. Lucky for you, we decided to give you 5 to start off with.

1.The Mandalorian

We would be genuinely surprised if you didn’t hear about this one. Baby Yoda, or The Child as he is officially known, has taken social media by storm. There are many memes out there about the little guy, but why not see him in action? For those new to the world of Star Wars, you do not need to watch the movies first, but you might enjoy it more if you do (all of the movies are available on Disney+ as well).

2.Lizzie McGuire

Throwing it back to the early 2000s when Hilary Duff was ~the queen~ of Disney Channel. If nostalgia doesn’t have you on board, then maybe the upcoming revival will. You read that correctly, Collegiettes. We will get to see Lizzie for the first time since her concert in Rome. If you couldn’t tell, we are so excited about this.

3.Your Favorite Classic Movie

With Disney+, the infamous vault has finally been opened. All of the classics we grew up watching are available for binge-watching. Whether you loved Peter Pan or Cinderella, we are sure that the upcoming movie marathons are going to be epic.

4.One Day at Disney

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work for the Walt Disney Company? With this new documentary, viewers are able to see the different roles the workers, who are affectionately known as cast members, have within the large company. It’s a truly ~magical~ experience for those who want to know more about what happens behind the scenes of one of the most influential companies in the world.

5.Mickey Mouse Club

Who’s the leader of the club? Of course, we all know the answer to that question is the one and only Mickey Mouse (sorry Donald). The classic show from the ‘50s is available for your bingeing pleasure. Check out the show that originated the song we all know so well.

If you’re looking for us, Collegiettes, we are most likely watching Disney+. Be sure to tell us what you are watching. Until next time, HCXO.
