5 Easy No-Bake Treats to Share with All Your Galentines

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fairfield chapter.

There’s no denying that we all have a pretty big sweet tooth, especially when it comes to celebrating V-Day. Even though the typical assortment of chocolate delicacies is quite delicious, we’re always on the lookout for fun and creative treats. For those who enjoy spending a memorable V-Day night with their ~gals~, we have the perfect selection of sweets that are just as yummy as they are Insta-worthy. We guarantee there won’t be a single one left!

1.) Cupid’s Crunch

A whole lot of love is definitely poured into making this snack mix. Simply mix popcorn, mini pretzels, and your ~fav~ cereal with V-Day themed sprinkles and M&M’s. Drizzle melted white chocolate or pink candy melts on top for the sweetest finishing touch. Sweet & salty never tasted so good!

2.) Strawberry Roses

We think these strawberry-dipped cuties are way better than actual roses and they’re super easy to make! First, use bamboo skewers to secure the strawberries in place. Once the pink and red candy melts are fully melted, dip each strawberry in the pink. The red design on top can be achieved by pouring the red candy melts in a plastic bag, cutting a small hole on the bottom corner, and piping swirl designs.

3.) You Have My Heart Pops

These festive pops are the definition of V-Day. All it takes is dipping your favorite flavor of Oreo cookies in melted white chocolate. Decorate with as much sprinkles or colored sugar as you please. We know they’re too good to have just one, so go ahead and have about four!

4.) Be Mine Grahams

We have to admit, we’re pretty obsessed with how adorable these mini treats are. We recommend breaking each graham cracker in half, so each is generously coated with melted chocolate. Once each is decorated, refrigerate for about an hour to harden. Graham crackers, chocolate, and sprinkles never looked so ~delish~.

5.) Strawberry Sweetheart Cocoa

Hot chocolate meets strawberry milkshake, need we say more? It’s creamy, dreamy, and everything in between! There are many variations to making this sweet drink depending on what you have available. One version requires stove usage by whisking together 4 tablespoons of butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and 1 pint of strawberry ice cream over medium heat until melted. Gradually mix in water one cup at a time until desired texture or flavor is achieved. Then, heat just until steaming.

The chocolate-rimmed mugs can be made by melting one cup of mini chocolate chips and dipping the tops of each mug into the chocolate. If you’re only limited to a microwave, warming up milk and spooning a few scoops of strawberry ice cream into the milk will do. The taste will be just as good and create the same effect. Top off your signature V-Day drink with a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles!

Happy Valentine’s Day from HCFU! Enjoy!
