Major designers are hiring well known celebrities to bring more attention to their new campaigns. Since celebrities have a huge following on social media, these ads have garnered a lot of attention from their fans and the news media. By using celebrities, companies are guaranteed exposure. Here are a few of our favorite celebrities starring in campaigns for major companies.

1. Justin Bieber for Calvin Klein:

Bieber’s campaign with Calvin Klein underwear caused major buzz over the possible Photoshopping of his body for the ad. Expectedly, his devoted fans and the media went crazy and even Saturday Night Live parodied the ads. Photoshopped or not we still love you Biebs!

2. Kendall Jenner for Marc Jacobs:

With over an astounding 18 million followers on Instagram, generating nearly 1 million likes per photo posted, this young model is a companies’ dream. Jenner’s familiar face makes Marc Jacobs’ clothing stand out even more and attracts a broader audience toward this spring’s line.

3. Joan Didion for Céline:

I’m sure most of you have seen this Céline ad by now but may not know the identity of the woman in the shades. She is Joan Didion, the iconic eighty-year-old American author, who also worked for Vogue in the past. The French brand, Céline, photographs Didion wearing huge sunglasses and an unexpressive face to market their chic accessories.

4. Julia Roberts for Givenchy:

Oscar winner, Julia Roberts, stunned fans when it was revealed that she would be the new face of Givenchy. Roberts has been famous for nearly thirty years and is one of the most recognized starlets within the film industry. Roberts, known for her stunning smile, grabs the attention of the adult and middle-aged generation who have seen her career flourish throughout the years. By making Roberts the face of Givenchy for their spring line, the brand captures a target audience, especially around Oscar and acting awards season.

5. Chloe Grace Moretz for Coach:

Like Kendall Jenner, young beauty Moretz generates a lot of noise in media, especially with a younger audience. After starring in a number of new movies and attending a number of high profile red carpet events, Moretz has become a recognizable face that the public gravitates towards, making her an obvious choice as the new face of Coach.
