As college students, we usually have to stick to strict budgets. Buying the $50 eye shadow palette we have been eyeing at Sephora isn’t always an option. This does not mean great makeup looks cannot be created! Explore your local drugstores for these inexpensive finds that are comparable to luxury makeup brands. 

Wet N’ Wild Eye Shadow Trios, $3

This shadow collection offers a wide a variety of color options, both shimmer and matte shades. They are extremely pigmented and easy to apply and blend. Each trio of shades compliments each other beautifully.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner in Nude, $4

Substitute this product in replace of your typical black liner. Apply on your lower lash line and waterline for an instant eye-opening effect. You will immediately look more awake. It’s great for an early morning class, ladies!

E.L.F. Studio Line Makeup Brushes, $3

Do not think you need to spend big bucks for great quality makeup brushes. The E.L.F.  line offers all types of brushes you might need to create the perfect look. These brushes are sold at Target stores. Wet N’ Wild Ultimate Brow Kit, $4

We can’t forget about the brows. So much is packed into this great little kit. You get two brow shades that can be easily blended together to find your perfect shade. Use the angled brush to apply the powder and then follow up with the brow wax to set everything into place. NYC New York Color Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny, $3

This product is highly comparable to some of the most popular bronzers sold at Sephora stores. It is great to use for contouring the face since it is completely matte or for adding an all over warmth to the face. Not only can you use this product for the face, but try applying it as an eye shadow in the crease of your eye for a natural look. What a great multi-use product!
