25 Times Calories Don’t Count

There’s no doubt that today, we live in a world that is obsessed with counting calories. It makes us feel like we cannot even enjoy our favorite foods anymore! From the apps on our phone to food journals, we have become fixated on how many calories we consume on a daily basis. But don’t worry ladies; I’ve got your back. Here is a list of very real circumstances when calories do not count. So don’t be afraid to bake your cake AND eat it too.

1. When it’s Christmas.

2. For the food Insta.

3. When it’s your birthday. 

4. When a new place in town opens and you absolutely have to try it. 

5. Anytime you bake something. 

6. When you aced that test you’ve been studying forever for. 

7. When you’re stressed because you have ~so much ~ homework.

8. Whenever you start thinking about your future. 

9. When you fight with your bestie.

10. When you worked out everyday that week.

11. When you’re feeling emotional after watching The Notebook.

12. When your heart aches. 

13. When you realize the semester has only just begun and you have 3 plus months of philosophy class left.

14. When you and friends want to get Colony after a long school week. 

15. When you’re drunk.

16. When you’re snowed in.

17. When you travel. We all know pizza doesn’t taste the same everywhere. 

18. When you’re diet starts tomorrow.

19. When your grandma cooks.

20. When it’s cheat day. 

21. When you live the YOLO lifestyle #SorryNotSorry. 

22. When you’re comfortable with your body.

23. When you’re on your period. 

24. While doing homework.

25. When you’re eating off the plate the food was cooked in.
