1. Facing the harsh reality that this might be the last semester you are living on campus with everyone in your grade.

2. Then having major #FOMO of everything you will not be able to partake in while you are away.

3. Getting super emotional thinking about all the seniors you won’t be seeing anymore.

4. Promising all of your best friends (either those remaining on campus or traveling around other parts of the world) that you will keep each other updated on every detail of everything even remotely interesting that happens to you.

5. Then realizing the six plus hour time difference. I suggest making a WhatsApp, Facebook message, or Viber account!

6. Remembering the fact that you have to take another language because it is required even though you have already taken a decade of Spanish and will never learn it.

7. Ecstatic at the fact that being carded will no longer be an issue for the next four months, even if you aren’t 21 yet.

8. Prematurely making Spring Break plans to meet up with your friends who you love and miss so much. You already know that it will be the greatest week of your life and blow away any cliché college movie about Spring Break away because you and your BFFS will do it ten times better.

9. And of course, getting prematurely homesick before you even leave.

10. But then forgetting all about that because this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and you are ready to literally take on the world.
