Registration is probably one of the most stressful times of the semester (minus midterms and finals). We have to go to our advisor, get a pin number, make a schedule and wait for registration day. So much anxiety…
1. It’s registration day. You have your laptop and PIN number ready with more than one possible schedule, of course. Just a few minutes until you can register and you feel prepared.
2. It’s time! You refresh the page and type in your course reference numbers (CRN) as fast as you can, hoping for the best. Â
3. Of course, two out of five of your classes are full. What to do now?
4. Oh but it gets worse when you realize you need a pre-requisite for one of the classes too.
5. You start entering your back-up classes, crossing your fingers, knowing you’re only signed up for two classes.
6. One of them works, but the other two don’t…they conflict with your other classes.
7. You don’t know what to do considering you’re only signed up for three classes and you begin to have a mental breakdown.
8. You beg your friends to help you look for classes. You know they’ll be a big help since you are way too stressed to deal with this any longer.
9. You FINALLY fill up your schedule and reassure yourself that everything is okay, even though you have one professor everyone complains about and class at 8 AM. You’re on waitlists so there’s still hope, right?
10. You shut your laptop and accept your current schedule, not giving a care until next semester.
There’s always senior year right?
