Now that summer is over and school is back in session, it’s time to trade flip-flops for UGGs and magazines for textbooks. Although the summer quickly ending can be sad, we have to remember that the best and most basic time of year is just around the corner. Here is why fall is our favorite season of all.

1. Starbucks brings back the famous pumpkin spice latte *basic collegiettes swoon*. 1 Grande PSL please!

2. Sweaters, leggings and riding boots. Time to wear all of the cozy things we have been pinning on Pinterest throughout the summer.

3. Halloween. Yes, that means costumes, candy and scary movies too! Halloweentown, please!

4. Hayrides and apple picking. Perfect for a date night.

5.  Basically pumpkin everything.  Pies, cookies, soup… you name it, it probably exists with a pumpkin twist!

6. Thanksgiving. Nothing beats this day complete with your favorite food and family.

7. Sunday football for all us sports lovers. Or for those who are not, just seeing Tom Brady in action.

8. Flannels and vests. Simple and comfortable for class.

9. Fall scents can be found where ever you turn…

10. It definitely doesn’t hurt knowing that the Christmas season is approaching! Cue Mariah Carey on repeat.
