Valentine’s Day Inspired Nail Art

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at F and M chapter.

With Valentines Day right around the corner, what better way to get in the spirit then with a Valentines Day manicure? Here are some amazing, and easy to do Valentine’s Day manicures you will love.

1) Show your colors! Pain your nails in pink and red alternating pattern. Make your thumb white and add sparkles for a fun statement nail.

2) Create Candy hearts inspired nails! Paint your nails in different shades of pastel colors. Then, once they have dried, go back with a nail striper and write cute candy hearts sayings:

3) Get funky! Using Valentine’s Day colors, alternate designs on your nails. Add dots, hearts, and maybe even a crackle nail. Have fun and be creative!

4. Spell it out! What better way to show your spirit then by writing your favorite Valentines Day sayings on your nails. Paint your nails in your favorite pink or red, and then with a nail striper, add in your letters. Don’t forget to add some hearts for an extra flair :)

 5) French Mani with a Twist! What’s better then a French manicure? A French manicure with a twist. Instead of painting the outer part of your nails the traditional white, make them red. Add a heart on your ring finger for a bit of glam.
