According to Huffington Post, mosting is when “the prospective partner lays it on thick, more or less convincing you that you’re The One, then ghosts you. As with ghosting, you’re left totally blindsided but also wondering, “Why put in all that effort?” The whole idea behind mosting is that as someone is preparing to ghost a person, s/he works to convince him/her that love is in the air.
