Five Things You Can Do During Fall Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at F and M chapter.

Yay, fall break is here! Check out the list below to see what you can do for this extended weekend.

5. Visit Central Market

A staple in Lancaster, PA. If you have not experienced the wonders of walking by stalls with fresh fruit and cheese among other things, you should take time this break to head down to Central Market.

4. Bake Something

Fall break is a great time to bake some brownies for you and your friends. Who knows, maybe you can make some fall- themed cookies? Linked below is a Tasty link to some easy mug in cup recipes you can make: https://tasty.co/compilation/3-minute-mug-cakes-4-ways

3. Netflix

Not to be that person who only promotes the things she likes, but A Wrinkle in Time is on Netflix and you should totally watch it. I can go into detail about every single little thing about this film that will make your life better, but I think it best if you experience it yourself. And when you’re done watching it, you can go ahead and browse through all of the other great shows on Netflix. The Good Place for example (totally not suggesting you should watch it, but also, you need to watch it).

2. Button Poetry Videos on Youtube

Poetry. I’ll leave it at that.

2. SLEEP

Fall Break is great for going out and watching movies, but it’s also a time for you to rest. Take advantage of the few days you have without classes to sleep a little bit more than you’re used to. It’ll make returning to classes easier.

Sandra is an LA native studying Creative Writing at Franklin and Marshall College. When not reading for class, you can find her laughing at memes. She would like to say she enjoys long walks on the beach, but she hasn't taken enough to claim it as a hobby. When asked to describe herself, she will tell you she's a cloud pretending to be human. It's okay if the cloud thing is confusing. She doesn't really get it either.
Vivian is the current Campus Correspondent and Marketing Director of the Her Campus chapter at F&M, where she has been a member for 3 years. In her free time, she can be found catching up on TV shows, reading novels, or spending time with her sorority sisters. Her interests include branding, public relations, and marketing.
