What is your favorite thing about F&M?
The College House System. I never planned on becoming involved with student government at F&M, but my experience on the Brooks House Congress has been immensely rewarding and I really believe that our House System works in creating meaningful campus communities.

When did you start dancing?
I started dancing at 3 years old (a ballet camp at the YMCA), and haven’t stopped since!

In class, we talked about the weekly dance seminars. Have you had a favorite?
My favorite company class would have to be Belinda McGuire’s class in Limon technique. Her ability to explain movement with imagery is exceptional, and I would love to take another master class with her in the future.

What’s your favorite class that you’ve taken?
My favorite course so far has been Compositional Improvisation with Pamela Vail. That is the class in which I discovered that dance isn’t just a fun hobby for me, but it is both an academic practice and a way of life.

Ben or John?
I’m going to have to say John. I love Ben too, but John Marshall really deserves some more attention!

I am currently a senior at Franklin and Marshall College in the picturesque city of Lancaster, PA. I am a Spanish and History major and I'm excited to be a writer for HerCampus F&M. I love finding new and interesting ways to design nails and always share it with others. I also love all things of adventurous and exotic natures, stories, art, and cute boys (let's not forget what we really are checking on HerCampus).
Along with being the Her Campus Franklin and Marshall Campus Correspondent, I am also the editor-in-chief of Epilogue, F&M's literary Magazine, Staff Writer for The College Reporter, F&M's student newspaper, and a very active member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. When not hard at work, you can find me writing, reading, geeking out over Disney movies with my friends, or doing art projects.
