It’s winter and you’re cooped up inside looking for something fun to do with all that stupid snow. Well, have no fear, here are some crafts to bring you some cheer!

1. Latch Hook Kits. Seriously, these are one of the coolest and most underated crafts EVER! All you need is a simple tool, a latch hook kit (which comes in basically every design possible from Disney to Nature. It’s basically a craft where you create knots with your tool to create really cool designs. They make great pillows and rugs!

2. Needlepoint. I’m sure you’re saying, but wait, isn’t that for old ladies? It’s not. It takes a bit of skill, but you can create some really beautiful pieces of art with a special needle, some really nice thread, and a nice canvas. It can take some work, but you’ll learn quickly how to do it!

3. Knitting. Seriously, this is like the biggest thing ever. All my friends do it and I’m DYING to learn how to do it myself. I’d love to be able to knit or crochet things for people in my family. Plus, it’s such a fun thing to curl up with a cup of hot cocoa or tea and just knit!

So what do you say ladies? Want to join me in crafting?

Along with being the Her Campus Franklin and Marshall Campus Correspondent, I am also the editor-in-chief of Epilogue, F&M's literary Magazine, Staff Writer for The College Reporter, F&M's student newspaper, and a very active member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. When not hard at work, you can find me writing, reading, geeking out over Disney movies with my friends, or doing art projects.
