8 Staple Pieces Every Girl Needs for Halloween

Black leather skirt

This is a classic. You can pair it with almost any top and every pair of shoes. You want to be Batgirl? Covered, now just get a cape. You want to be an adorable kitty? Perfect, get a pair of ears.

Cat ears

Even though pretty much every college woman has gone as a cat at least once in her life, it’s still an incredibly easy costume and you can spice it up with cute accessories. You can even draw some whiskers on and really exaggerate your eye makeup!

Reliable black eyeliner

Almost every awesome Halloween costume involves some form of makeup. Black eyeliner is perfect for causing a dramatic effect or creating a sexy effect around your eyes.

A fun wig

Wearing a wig makes you feel like a different person. You could have any colored wig – anything different from your normal hair color. Try bright red, purple, rainbow; your possibilities are endless!

Nerd glasses

Though these are technically called “nerd glasses,” you can use them for many different costumes. You could be a nerd, or a schoolgirl, but you could also be a hipster or a librarian!

Fishnet tights

These are sexy accessories to any costume. You can make an already sexy costume, even sexier, but they can also be a flirty touch to a relatively conservative costume. Want to add an edge to a black turtleneck and skirt? Wear some fishnet tights!

A great pair of shoes

Good shoes can always help you feel more confident – whether you’re dressed as yourself or in a costume! Make sure they’re comfortable if you’re going to be wearing them all night at a party. You can wear crazy shoes for Halloween too – sparkly, high-heeled masterpieces that make everyone look your way.

An awesome group of friends!

The best part of Halloween is spending it with your best friends! Going out with your girls guarantees a great night and awesome memories for years to come.
