So as spring break nears, we’re all thinking “Oh my gosh! What do I pack?” Have no fear, HC F&M is here with all your packing suggestions and ideas!

1. A Book. A lot of people are taking trains home or are getting driven, and what better way to pass the time on the trip or at home then reading a book for pleasure? We all get sick of reading for school, so a nice, fun, book could be the distraction we all need!

2. Sunglasses. Okay, so even if it’s not sunny yet, maybe where you’re going is sunny, or you can pray the sun will come out when you’re home. You definitely don’t want to be without those when we actually see the sun again!

3. Snowboots. With the weather we’ve been having, it probably doesn’t hurt to bring your snowboots with you home, especially so you can help out your parents when they need to shovel the driveway (or if you want to get in a snowball fight with that hometown cutie!)

4. A Camera. Okay even though many phones have cameras now, you want the best quality photos to remember your fun times. Plus, nice photos make wonderful graduation gifts for friends!

5. Your iPod. You could definitely use some good tunes to listen to while you’re on your way home or to a fun trip, and it’s also nice to listen to music while you’re attempting to get a nice tan!

Along with being the Her Campus Franklin and Marshall Campus Correspondent, I am also the editor-in-chief of Epilogue, F&M's literary Magazine, Staff Writer for The College Reporter, F&M's student newspaper, and a very active member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. When not hard at work, you can find me writing, reading, geeking out over Disney movies with my friends, or doing art projects.
