Sometimes it’s hard being a Jersey Girl in a PA world:
1. You always identify if you’re from North or South Jersey. There’s a huge distinction folks.
2. You’re always explaining that your life isn’t like that from the cast of the Jersey Shore
3. When you say “the City” you clearly mean NYC
4. You’ll explain that life isn’t like the Sopranos either…but you’re super proud that it was filmed in good old NJ. (Shoutout to it being filmed in my hometown, North Caldwell)
5. You miss your Jersey bagels more than anything for a Sunday brunch
6. You always order a “cawfee” at ZeBi’s
7. You’ll always say PA traffic has NOTHING on driving into the City
8. You’re always explaining that no, Jersey isn’t the armpit of America
9. There’s no good Kosher deli anywhere in sight…how can you possibly survive without your usual deli sandwiches…aside from maybe KIVO
10. You don’t know/refuse to pump gas…okay so maybe you’d rather pump your fist.
Everyone loves a Jersey Girl :)
