Just because it’s legal in Amsterdam, Miley, doesn’t mean you should light it up for the world (and all your Hannah Montana fans) to see. Just go to a coffee shop – I hear you have a favourite.
2. When Miley then reminded us of why she’s so successful
Her live performance or Wrecking Ball proved her critics wrong – her voice is one of the few aspects you can’t criticise.
3. When Robin Thicke’s performance wasn’t the most controversial moment of the evening, despite all the nearly-naked women.
4. When Katy Perry performed Unconditionally, bursting forth from her technicolour dreamcoat chrysalis and wearing a mirrored onesie. No one but Katy could pull that off.
5. When Eminem won his Global Icon Award (totally deserved after twenty three years in the business – in which he has contributed 16 albums, all of which have gone Platinum!)
It was also awesome that Ron Burgundy presented the award to him.
