It wouldn’t be Christmas without at least one festive drink, but lucky for you I’ve spent half my student loan on Christmas drinks this year so that you don’t have to! No matter what you fancy, it’s not Christmas without at least one festive drink. While nowhere is doing my favourite spiced apple drink anymore (RIP this was honestly the best thing ever) the necessity for caffeine in my life has allowed me to try a bunch of coffees so you don’t have to!

N.B. I take all my coffee with oat milk – just in case that changes the overall flavour of the drink.

Starbucks Iced Toffee Nut Latte

This was the first of the Christmas drinks I tried this year, and I have to admit it was probably my least favourite one that I tried. I just wasn’t a fan of the flavour of the syrup – it tasted a bit like burnt popcorn to me. But if you like popcorn, you might like this! I also had this one iced, so it might be nicer when it’s warm.

Starbucks Cinnamon latte

If you like the Pumpkin Spice Latte then you might like this – it’s quite similar in that it has a warmth to it, but it is also incredibly sweet.

Starbucks Caramel waffle latte

Another super sweet latte from Starbucks, but great in a warm latte. If you like caramel waffles then you will love this drink, it tastes just like one… but with a hint of coffee in it too!

Starbucks iced Gingerbread latte

I must admit that I wasn’t overly fond of this iced drink. The syrup wasn’t bad, but I think it just didn’t work with the ice. If you fancy a gingerbread latte when you’re in Starbucks, I recommend getting a hot one!

Dart’s Farm Gingerbread latte

Okay so this one is a little bit rogue, but this was my absolute favourite drink of the season. It was warm, spicy, sweet and had the most delicious coffee. Dart’s Farm is also just a great place to go at Christmas if you want to feel festive. So go grab a gingerbread latte and head round their beautiful food shop. If you’re lucky, you might even get a sample or two!

Glorious Art House Gingerbread latte

In case you hadn’t noticed a theme already I’m quite a big fan of gingerbread. This latte was yummy but, and I know this is going to upset a lot of people, the coffee just wasn’t it for me. I think I’ll just have to go back and try one of their amazing looking hot chocolates instead.

Pret Macaroon Hot Chocolate

My housemate tried this. Anna said the hot chocolate was sweet, morish and delectable. Especially with the cream on top it felt like a Christmas Treat. Especially when you get it with your subscription! It’s deffo better than the regular one.

Pret Gingerbread latte

This was probably my favourite high street drink of the season. It’s warm, sweet and the perfect addition to coffee. It also just helps to elevate your everyday coffee from necessary to absolutely delicious.

Pret Praline latte

In the words of my housemate Ben, the Praline latte is more of a treat while gingerbread is more of a regular drink. I also love this one. It’s nutty, chocolatey and the perfect addition to coffee.

(P.S. Don’t forget when you pop into Pret that 50p from every Christmas sandwich is donated to the Pret Foundation which helps the homeless, poverty and hunger.)
