Say hello to this week’s campus cutie, Henry Cox, a fresher with a starring role in the upcoming production of Dirty Decadence!

Name: Henry Cox

Year: 1st Year

Course: Drama

Relationship Status: Single

How does it feel to be a campus cutie?

I’ve always felt this was my destiny, and it’s great to rival Fred Wheadon after his Finest Fresher nomination.

Tell us a little bit about Dirty Decadence? What is the part that you play? Are you anything like your character?

Think Made in Chelsea with a lot more sex. Holland Hall meets Mathew Bourne. I play an unfaithful aristocrat caught in the middle of a complex love affair. Dark, handsome and a penchant for sex, I’d say so.

What was it about the ballet that influenced you to audition?

I couldn’t resist the opportunity to wear tights

Have you been dancing for a long time?

It is rumoured the film Billy Elliot is based upon my life… very loosely.

We hear rehearsals are already on the way- what has been your favourite part about the production so far?

I’ve loved the dancing aspect, but at the same time the piece is definitely a Drama. Seeing the two come together is very exciting.

Girls love a boy that can dance, but what do you look for in your perfect partner?

I don’t really have a type but as long as she has good banter and we’re attracted then that’s a start.

What is the most embarrassing moment you have had in Exeter?

I’m not really the type to get embarrassed, you’re probably better off asking who I’ve managed to embarrass.

What is your most unique hidden talent/ party trick?

I can do a couple of flips, depending on how many cider blacks I’ve had first.

Favourite chat-up line?

Are you an orphanage? Cause I want to give you kids.

Most embarrassing song on your i-pod?

Not ashamed to say I have the entire soundtrack to Wicked, nope not ashamed at all!

Where will we find you this summer?

If you happen to be in Scotland (very unlikely) come catch Dirty Decadence at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Any final thoughts?

Think that just about covers it.
