The LEGO Movie (February 14th)

LEGO is now on the big-screen – In an all-star voice cast, an ordinary Lego minifigure is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil Lego tyrant after mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary MasterBuilder. Promises to be ridiculously entertaining!

Veronica Mars (March 14th – no UK release date yet)

Veronica Mars returns! This film is a unique project as it is completely funded by the fans of the TV series of the same name. Following the series’ cancellation, Rob Thomas (the creator) wrote a feature film script continuing the storyline, but it never made it to the big screen as the project was not funded. Last March, the Rob Thomas and stars of the film launched a fundraising campaign to produce the film and attained their goal in 10 hours! Her Campus is definitely looking forward to seeing how this unique project turns out – a must-watch for fans of the original show as well as those who have never seen it!

About Last Night (March 21st)

A remake of the 1986’s rom-com About Last Night – watch the trailer, Her Campus guarantees you will want to watch it immediately!

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (March 28th)

A must-watch for Marvel fans!

The much awaited film adaptation of the first book of the Divergent trilogy. A definite must-watch for fans of the series and well-worth checking out if you are a fan of The Hunger Games or books set in a dystopian society. Read the book, it is AMAZING.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (April 18th)

Andrew Garfield is back as Spiderman and this time he’s up against Electro (Jamie Foxx) and The Rhino (Paul Giamatti). Plus the film stars Emma Stone, and who doesn’t love Emma Stone?

Neighbors (May 9th)

X-Men: Days of Future Past (May 22nd)

A sequel to both X-Men: First Class and X-Men: The Last Stand, Wolverine gets sent to the past in an attempt to change history as the X-Men fight for the survival of their species across two time periods. A total geeky guilty pleasure – if you’ve never seen X-Men, watch it NOW.

Maleficient (May 30th)

Based on the fairytale “Sleeping Beauty”, this time the tale is told from the perspective of the villain, Maleficient (Angeline Jolie) and takes a look at the events that hardened her heart and led her to curse Princess Aurora.

This is a very difficult story to explain without properly doing it justice. An absolutely amazing book by John Green and hopefully an absolutely amazing film!

 The Maze Runner (October 24th)

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, think a of more male version of The Hunger Games and Divergent. Oh and did we mention, Teen Wolf’s sexy Dylan O’Brien plays the lead.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 (November 21st)

The. Hunger. Games. *cue scream*
