For us girls that enjoy indulging into the world of make up, there are few things more satisfying than investing in a luxurious beauty product. However, we need to question whether sometimes (as much as we try to convince ourselves) it’s not worth splashing out repeatedly on £30 blushers. But fear not because with the amount of high street duplicates for some of our favourite high-end make up, you can achieve the same look without breaking the bank!

Nars Orgasm v. Sleek Rose Gold

Although to a true beauty junkie, nothing beats the beautiful shimmer and pigmentation of the Nars Orgasm blush, Sleek have done an incredible job at duplicating the infamous blush with their own Rose Gold shade. The difference? Nars Orgasm will set you back £21. 50 where as the Sleek blushes only cost £4.49.

MAC Paint Pots v. Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoos

If you’re searching for an eyeshadow that won’t crease and will last through the craziest of nights out, look no further! MAC paint pots are known being an excellent base colour for when you want to rock a sexy smokey eye, or even if you want to effortlessly spruce up your look by applying it all over the lid. The problem? Sadly, like all MAC products, paint pots are on the pricey side costing £15 each. A much cheaper alternative with the same impressive pigmentation and lasting power are the Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoos, which come in 11 stunning shades. At only £4.99, how could we resist?!

Urban Decay Naked 2 palette v. Sleek Au naturel palette

We all know the Naked Palettes are the Holy Grail product when it comes to neutral shades of eye shadow. The shades are beautiful and the colour payoff is outstanding. However, as this first term is coming to an end, our bank balance is starting to suffer and it would be hard to justify spending £37 on eyeshadow… Sleek has come to the rescue once again with their Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palette. Although the colours are not an exact match, this palette is known for its outstanding quality and pigmentation and if you’re looking to sport the perfect smokey eye at the HCX Masquerade… Costing only £7.99, we have found a winner!

Nars Creamy Concealer v. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

When choosing a concealer, it’s important that it gives good coverage, is moisturizing and that it lasts on the skin. The Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer ticks all of these boxes. For only £4.19, dare we say that it is even better than the Nars Creamy concealer! If you haven’t tried this incredible product yet, you are missing out!

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis À Lèvres v. L’Oreal Glossy Stains

With Christmas dinners and Balls just around the corner, it’s important to find that lip product that will still show after that delicious Christmas roast and a few glasses of wine. Here’s a little beauty secret; both of these products are manufactured by the same company! So although the YSL stains feel slightly more moisturizing, there’s actually little different! If you are looking for luxury, the YSL stains will set you back £23.50. However, the L’Oreal alternative costs only £7.99 and rest assured, you will not have to make a run to the bathroom for constant touch ups!
