The Missing, BBC1

Set in France and London, The Missing tells the story of a young boy who disappears during the 2006 World Cup. The fantastic James Nesbitt absolutely steals the show; The Missing will have you on the edge of your seat! You can catch up on this amazing thriller on BBC iPlayer, or tune into BBC1 Tuesdays at 9pm!

Downton Abbey, ITV

Our Sunday nights are not quite the same now that series five of Downton Abbey is finished (sob). If you missed out, you can still catch up on ITV player in preparation for their ever-fantastic Christmas episode! (The series finale is worth a watch for the costumes alone- absolutely stunning!) 

Xpression Presents

Exeter’s student radio station, Xpression FM, dedicates one hour per week to showcasing radio dramas created by the scripted team. They’ve got loads lined up, including Westminster, a political drama set over a family breakfast table, a Christmas Ghost Story and the weekly soap opera Union Road!

Did you know: Exeter University is going to be featured in the new series of Broadchurch? Were you lucky enough to spot David Tennant in the Forum? There is no date set yet for series two, but if the first is anything to go by it’s going to be brilliant! Keep your eyes peeled…

 

Antigone

Greek Tragedy brought into the 21st century; Roy Williams’ production has had some fantastic reviews! Antigone is a defiant heroine, tortured by her cruel father Creon – and will be at the Northcott Theatre 26th-29th November. Do not miss it!
