The Minack Theatre is Cornwall’s world famous open-air theatre. The word “Minack” in Cornish means a rocky place, and until the 1930s the rocks below the theatre were a popular fishing spot. However, in 1931, Rowena Cade began the process of creating a theatre on the cliff-edge.
