Over break, I started watching Money Heist on Netflix. The show that first came out in 2017, is a Spanish show dubbed in English. If I had known that before I probably wouldn’t have watched it but I am so glad I did. The plot revolves around a bank robbing crew and their leader “the professor”. The professor and his team take over the Royal Mint of Spain and end up in a stalemate with the police and start printing billions of euros. The series shows how the professor outsmarts the police time and time again. As the show goes on, you learn about the background of each robber and what made them want to do the heist. You also learn about the lives of the hostages as some become accomplices and some remain hostages. After the first and second season, which shows the heist, I was unsure how there could even be a third season but I was pleasantly surprised. The third season is just as good as the first two as the team comes together again for another heist. I am looking forward to the fourth season which is coming out in April.
