What’s On My Shopping List for the HC Fashion Show

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Endicott chapter.

With HerCampus fashion shows coming up oh so soon, I’ve been debating over what I want to wear since fashion is clearly a necessity at this event! Call me crazy, but I’ve been online shopping like no one’s business. These new fall trends have my wallet suffering big time! Here’s what I’m eyeballing for this year’s fashion show:

Long Hooded Sweatshirt

This Long Hooded Sweatshirt from H&M: I totally can see myself wearing this with a distressed jean jacket and my reeboks or with black thigh-high boots paired with a black or snakeskin crossbody bag. This hooded sweatshirt doubles as an adorable dress, turning comfort into chic.

Corduroy Pegged Skirt

This green with envy corduroy pegged skirt: I’m such a sucker for anything green! It is my favorite statement color for the sole reason that it makes my eyes pop! This skirt would look cute with a black mock neck top and black booties, perhaps with lace tights or chunky baublebar earrings to jazz it up from daytime to night look.

Honeymoon Romper

This Honeymoon Romper from Free People: As much as my clearance-loving mother despises Free People, I’m hooked on their timeless boho fashion that makes me swoon. Although overpriced, this romper is a perfect peachy color with bright orange details that can be dressed up or dressed down. My dream look for this romper would be with accent heels and simple jewelry, as the bright orange colors are their own attention grabber.

Chic Red Wool Coat

A chic red wool coat that is a solid power move in itself: This coat brings me so much joy with the bright red color. When I was younger I had a jacket that looked exactly like this and I’ve been wanting another for years! I feel like this jacket could match anything from winter wear to simple black pants and sneaks.

Top Hand Satchel

This Top Handle Satchel Handbag from Target: Target is my go-to place for purses, mainly because they’re equally cute as they are affordable. This handbag is the perfect size: able to hold a good sized wallet and keys but not oversized to the point where it looks like a carry-on suitcase. I’m loving the color options they have for this bag, but my favorite so far is this brownish-purple snakeskin print.
