The “Logical” Guide to Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS Tour

The opinions expressed in this article are the writer’s own and do not reflect the views of Her Campus.
This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Endicott chapter.

Olivia Rodrigo will be performing at TD Garden on April 1st and 2nd! Whether you are a casual enjoyer or die-hard fan, this guide should help you with your concert planning. As someone who has attended many concerts, I have extensive knowledge about the way to have the best concert experience. Reading this article will not be a bad idea… right?

  1. Pack a portable charger

If you are anything like me, you feel the need to capture everything. Whether you want to take cute photos before the concert, record during the show, or ensure that you have a charged mobile device, I recommend a portable charger. You can find various models on Amazon and at convenience stores such as CVS.

  1. Purchase a small bag

While we all wish we could bring our cute tote bags, TD Garden has policies regarding bags in the arena. Each venue is different, however TD Garden states that no bags should exceed 4in x 6in x 1.5in. My sister purchased a clear bag from Etsy that says “Guts Tour.” It fulfills this bag requirement while also being super cute! 1. Outfit Inspiration

The key to cute concert photos is planning an outfit ahead of time. Whether you want to dress as Olivia from the Sour Tour, her Disney Channel era, or a niche fan reference, outfits are such a fun aspect of concerts. I recommend looking on Pinterest and Tiktok for inspiration, as there are many creators with amazing ideas. I personally want to remake one of Olivia’s outfits from the Sour Tour.

  1. Utilize Apple Wallet

Something that I wish I knew about earlier is just how useful the Apple Wallet is. If you have an iPhone, I recommend putting your tickets in your Apple Wallet. This makes the ticket scanning process much easier and straightforward. My friends and I did this recently when we saw Disney on Ice, and it was the easiest way to get into the venue.

  1. Ear Plugs

As someone who is highly sensitive to sound, ear plugs have been a lifesaver in many situations. Even if you don’t have sensitive ears, ear plugs should be used by everyone at concerts. Not wearing ear plugs can be totally brutal. It is important to protect your ears, and ear plugs are a relatively cheap solution.

The most important tip is to enjoy yourself! Scream your favorite songs at the top of your lungs and enjoy the moment. If you are queuing for the show try talking to other fans in line, as everyone there shares the common interest of enjoying Olivia’s music. Have the time of your life!
