This month I have experienced the stress of working full time while attending and completing final courses for my degree. If you’re just as busy as me here is everything I am / have / and will watch to battle the stress.

  1. Dollface      2019 ‧ Comedy ‧ 2 seasons

While it’s not the most recent release, this female led comedy stars Kat Dennings, Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell, Matthew Gray Gubler, and other iconic faces. The show follows Jules after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend, as she must deal with her own imagination to literally and metaphorically reenter the world of women and rekindle female friendships.

This legendary tv series has returned for yet another jaw dropping season. The latest, and eleventh, edition, American Horror Story: New York City.

  1. The Patient        2022 ‧ Drama ‧ 1 season

The unstoppable Steve Carell, or I would argue better known as Michael Scott, channels his inner therapist, as Alan Strauss who is held prisoner by a patient. His patient reveals himself to be a serial killer and has an unusual therapeutic demand for Alan: curb his homicidal urges. In order to survive, Alan must unwind his disturbed mind and stop him from killing again.

  1. Queer Eye      2018 ‧ Reality ‧ 6 seasons

Another less recent show stopper has changed me for the better. The style experts forge relationships with men and women who often have different beliefs from them, leading to moments of social commentary interspersed with style advice. Advising people in need of lifestyle makeovers are food and wine specialist Antoni Porowski, interior designer Bobby Berk, grooming consultant Jonathan Van Ness, fashion designer Tan France and culture expert Karamo Brown.

  1. Bling Empire       2021 ‧ Reality ‧ 3 seasons

Wildly wealthy Asian and Asian American fun seekers go all out with parties, glamor and drama in Los Angeles in this arguably top 10 reality tv series. Stars include, Christine Chiu, Kim Lee, Kane Lim, Anna Shay, & Jaime Xie.

  1. The Jeffrey Dahmer Story      2022 ‧ Thriller ‧ 1 season

Need I say more, this series follows the story of one of the most notorious serial killers in the United States, largely told from the points of view of his victims. The twisting story will forever have you guessing how it’s going to end.

  1. Blonde      2022 ‧ Drama/Drama ‧ 2h 46m

Don’t let the length of this film turn you away. This film takes a look at the rise to fame and the epic demise of actress Marilyn Monroe, one of the biggest stars in the world.

  1. The Great British Baking Show      2010 ‧ Reality ‧ 13 seasons

In the sixth series, the search for Britain’s best amateur baker is back as 12 passionate baking fans compete for the title.

  1. The Bachelorette      2003 Reality ‧ 19 seasons

The first ever premiere of two bachelorettes did not disappoint. You won’t regret joining Rachel & Gabby on this adventure.

  1. Bachelor In Paradise      2014 ‧ Reality ‧ 8 seasons

Former contenders from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette get a second chance at love as they explore new relationships on an isolated Mexican beach. As Jesse Palmer says, “this might just be the craziest season yet.”
