Spring is finally coming, and it’s time to put away the puffer coats (THE 2020 winter staple). To me, spring equals jean jacket weather but this season I am excited more for a different kind of jean. My fashion plan for spring 2020 is basically to pair blue or navy jean pants with everything, and my holy grail jean comes from Madewell. The price on them may look bad, but I promise it is the best investment (plus they have a student discount!). One pair I’ve had since junior year of high school are still in great condition three years later.

Those jeans and the other Madewell jeans I have are all wide leg style. The wide flare on them looks cool. Plus since they are spacious, the jeans are so comfortable. Most of them are also high rise, which is the absolute best because I will never give in to the low rise jeans coming back. But this spring I am going to try a new style, the straight leg. These jeans are high rise with a loser fit but are still slimmer than the wide leg. It’s kind of the perfect mix between a skinny jean, boyfriend, and wide leg.

With the wide leg my go to look is a cute t-shirt with a belt and sneakers. The Madewell t-shirts are always a favorite with the jeans as well. Straight leg jeans will look super cute with a sweater plus boots or sneakers too. For accessories, hoops, sunglasses, and a tote bag will just complete any spring look.
