Finding your new favorite podcast can feel like finding new best friends, and that exact feeling has been happening to me this past month. Binchtopia is a slightly new podcast that I have just been obsessed with. I found them as I find all new things now through Tik Tok. I started listening at their Call Her Binchy episode, then worked backwards and binged their first couple episodes.

@annalivgil summed the podcast best on Twitter saying, “binchtopa is call her daddy for girls who take antidepressants”. Julia Hava and Eliza McLamb are roommates that host the podcast together. Listening to this podcast feels just like having a conversation with friends in your room discussing everything and anything. No topic is off limits in the Binchtopia.

What makes the podcast, I think, so great is both Julia and Eliza’s point of view on things. They both have great pop culture and political knowledge and are willing to get deep in conversation. At the end of episodes they also take listener submitted stories and questions that sometimes can be hilarious, helpful, or both.

Eliza McLamb has probably come up on your for you page on Tik Tok. When she is not hosting the podcast with Julia, she is a singer and songwriter. You make know her viral song, Porn Star Tits. She just recently put out a beautiful new music video for her song, Pontiac.

Julia Hava you may not know as Julia, but binchcity. While you’ve seen Eliza on Tik Tok, you have definitely seen Julia’s work tapping through your friend’s Instagram stories. Her Instagram, binchcity, has the most amazing vintage graphic designs with every political issue and mood you can have as a woman in this patriarchal society.

Listen to Binchtopia on Spotify or anywhere you can listen to podcast, and follow the podcast account on Instagram, @binchtopiapod. They also have a patreon with extra episodes if you can not get enough of them like me. Below are my four favorite episodes with their descriptions that I think are a great place to start as a new member of the Binchtopa.
