Homemade Pumpkin Bread Recipe

What screams Fall better than pumpkin? Fall is definitely one of my favorite times of the year and I love pumpkin EVERYTHING. This pumpkin bread recipe is not only delicious, but it makes the whole house/room smell amazing as well! The fact that it is made from scratch only makes it that much better.

Cook Time: 55 mins
Serves: 2 Loaves
Ingredients:

2 cups of pure pumpkin
-
1 tsp ground cinnamon
-
1 tsp ground nutmeg
-
2 ½ cups granulated sugar
-
1 cup vegetable oil
-
⅔ cup water
-
4 eggs
-
3 ⅓ cup flour
-
2 tsp baking soda
-
1 ½ tsp salt
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin, sugar, oil, water and eggs.

In a medium bowl, mix together the rest of the dry ingredients – cinnamon, nutmeg, flour, baking soda and salt. After those are mixed, slowly add that to the large bowl mixture. Stir well until combined.

Pour mixture into two into 2 loaf pans that have been greased or lined.

Bake at 325° for about 55 minutes, or until done.

Allow time to cool before removing from loaf pans.
