Your friend calls you at midnight, she just broke up with her boyfriend, and she’s freaking out, and now you’re freaking out because she’s freaking out and now you realize you won’t be sleeping all night because she needs advice but you’re not good at advice and now you’re tired and OMG AHH. Okay, I might be a little dramatic, but I can’t be the only one who freaks out when someone needs advice, and you have to figure out the right thing to say. Although being sarcastic is tempting, if you’re having trouble coming up with advice, just assure your friend that you’re there for them and that you are listening and sympathizing with them.
