It is fashion month. My Instagram feed is all videos from shows from my favorite magazine editors, and influencers posing at the shoes and around New York. This New York Fashion week Emma Chamberlain has been killing it. The youtuber has been working with Louis Vuitton for the past year – going to shows and posting #ad posts on her grid. Her presence at these shows has gotten the attention of mainstream media already calling her fashion’s newest it girl.
Her and other media it girls, like Devon Carlson, are giving me one thing this past week: handbag envy. I have never been very into this category of fashion. Like if its basic and goes with a ton of outfits, it goes for me. But now, in this fashion month and post-Euphoria fashion era, the bolder the better.
