This story is about a college freshman whose roommate falls asleep and doesn’t wake up. As more people fall asleep the whole town in quarantine. There are multiple stories of people who are trying to stay awake and not fall into the dream state of unusual brain activity.

Parkland By, Dave Cullen

This story is the account of the events after the Marjory Stoneman Douglas School Shooting from follow the group of teenagers that are challenging the NRA and creating a movement. Dealing with grief and political activism at the time made the March For Our Lives, and this is their story.

Gingerbread By, Helen Oyeyemi

Obvious to the title this story is somewhat reminiscent to the childhood story Hansel and Gretel. This is the story of mother and daughter Perdita and Harriet Lee. Perdita sets out to look for her mother’s childhood friend Gretel Kercheval, and finds more out about her mother and their family’s famous gingerbread.

This is the memoir of Andrew Rannells who is the star of Broadway’s Book of Mormon and TV hits like Big Mouth and Girls. He is a Midwestern kid that took on the big city, aka New York City, and he explain all the trials and tribulations in this book.

This is the story of two teenagers from opposite side of popularity: Connell is a soccer star and Marianne is the shy girl. They circle in and out of each other’s lives in their hometown and them college as they grow up together and figure out who they are.
