#tbt to when we used to get learnlink, email goin’ straight to our cell.
Just Kidding. First off, Learnlink never hit me up on my phone. I’d have to log on from my computer only to be greeted by numerous red flags of unread group threads and posts. Mattie, mattie I surrender! Let myself drown in the flood of flags in my inbox for I am just not even going to attempt to read those posts.
Second, the layout of Learnlink looked like something my 90’s Microsoft desktop would display. I know we like to reminisce about our 90’s childhood and all, but even Siri, the betch behind the iPhone, was not a fan.
So, now we have Blackboard, but all Professors wish we could go back to when we used chalkboards. Sorry teach’, we ain’t about that life. But most Professor’s are on their game and feel ain’t nobody got time to mess around with technology, so they just put the homework and assignments on a printed syllabus.
However, still with so many contact and information sources to maintain, Emory evolves Learnlink into the Emory Bubble.
It’s Emory’s personal social network. Although it is still under construction, hopefully the Bubble won’t burst with all of Emory’s hubba bubba of groups and events on campus.
