This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emory chapter.

He’s from Florida, enjoys pole vaulting, and is going to be an investment banker someday. Don’t worry ladies, he’s single! Read on to find out how you can stand out in this campus cutie’s eyes!

Her Campus Emory (HCE): What did you do this past summer?
Somon (S): I interned with the Private Wealth Management division at Morgan Stanley back home. I was fortunate enough to work with such intelligent and caring people, and I’d love to expand to Investment Banking in New York City for the future.

HCE: Best memories while in college?
S: This is really tough with so many amazing memories, but if I had to choose, it would be any of the Spring Breaks. I’ve been lucky to have my birthday during Spring Break the past two years, and last year my fraternity friends and I went on a cruise to the Caribbean. Sooo many activities – Live Karaoke, Unlimited Munchies after Jamaica, Catacombs Club!!! This year my 21st birthday is during break, so who knows what will happen next.

HCE: Favorite thing about Emory?
S: Track and Field Team – one of the few times where I can let loose and enjoy myself without any distractions.

HCE: What is the first thing you notice about a girl?
S: Whether she’s able to make eye contact. Then, ass.

HCE: What do you find attractive from a girl?
S: Individuality and if she can dance. I love to dance and have fun, especially when Cherokee(look it up) is playing.

HCE: If you could take anyone out on a date, who would it be and where would you take them?
S: Beyonce and I’d be happy to go anywhere with her.

HCE: Who would you like to thank for being where you are today? (i.e. campus cutie)
S: I suppose my dad for giving me the Persian genes and since my parents are responsible for my “cutie” aspect :) But seriously, I wouldn’t be where I am today without my mom, dad, and especially my sister. Sarah has not only mentored me through rough times, but she also is my best friend.

Jessica lives her life at several speeds. She talks too fast, eats too slow and over-analyzes too much.  When she’s not telling long-winded stories, sitting alone at the dinner table, or staring off into space, Jessica loves all things creative. Screenwriter, play director and poet at age 9, songwriter and choreographer at age 16, now, at 23, all she really wants to do is write, help others, and post Instagrams.  As a social media coordinator for multiple fashion brands, and a post-grad writer for Her Campus, she gets to do just that. Jessica is a Midwestern girl from the suburbs of Chicago, but she fell in love with city living during a summer internship in the Big Apple, and now calls NYC home. Jessica loves chocolate milkshakes, dance parties, Chippewa Ranch Camp, Friends re-runs, Chuck Bass and of course, spending time with her fans (read: family and friends).
