We know you all love scoping out the “Campus Cutie” section in search of Emory hotties, and reading up on “Campus Celebrities” to get to know the university’s newsmakers. Now, Her Campus Emory presents to you a third group of exemplary students: the fashion-forward.

Each week, we will showcase a new “Campus Chic”, one of Emory’s stylish students, and learn a thing or two about her fashion sense and style! This is a another excuse to get dressed for class in the mornings, you never know when you’ll be spotted!

Her Campus Emory (HCE): What article of clothing/accessory are you most excited to wear this summer?
Jamie Shulman (JS): I am most excited to wear neon colors because I usually just stick to black.

HCE: Favorite nail polish color of the season?
JS: My favorite is white with either sparkles or a bright color. I also love half moon manicures!

HCE: Favorite pattern? Polka dots, Florals, Plaid, etc…
JS: I believe in wearing black until they make something darker with pops of color or bold accesories…

HCE: Last but not least, how you would describe your personal style….
JS: My style is anything with studs, fringe, lace, and leather. In general my style changes daily. I love to juxtapose pieces but I definitely dress for my mood.

Jessica lives her life at several speeds. She talks too fast, eats too slow and over-analyzes too much.  When she’s not telling long-winded stories, sitting alone at the dinner table, or staring off into space, Jessica loves all things creative. Screenwriter, play director and poet at age 9, songwriter and choreographer at age 16, now, at 23, all she really wants to do is write, help others, and post Instagrams.  As a social media coordinator for multiple fashion brands, and a post-grad writer for Her Campus, she gets to do just that. Jessica is a Midwestern girl from the suburbs of Chicago, but she fell in love with city living during a summer internship in the Big Apple, and now calls NYC home. Jessica loves chocolate milkshakes, dance parties, Chippewa Ranch Camp, Friends re-runs, Chuck Bass and of course, spending time with her fans (read: family and friends).
