In honor of this week’s 200 Days ‘til Graduation, which is Oktoberfest themed (and because I’m jealous of everyone at Oktoberfest in Europe), this article is dedicated to amazing fall nail colors, primarily the Germany collection by OPI.

Why (besides the fact that the names are hilariously witty and the colors are fabulous)? Germany is the mother country of the most famous fall drinking festival, and the below autumn hues are perfect for sunny days with a cold chill, fall foliage, stressful nights in the library, and fun fall date parties.

Don’t Talk Bach to Me, Schnapps Out of It!, Deutsch You Want Me Baby?, and Danke-Shiny Red are sunny shades that match the changing leaves and look great when wearing yellows and greens this season.

• The purples, German-icure, Suzi & the 7 Düsseldorfs and Every Month is Oktoberfest, pair well with warm sweaters in dark hues (like a nice maroon) and big scarves. Try these for a night out in a dark dress or velvet, too!

Unfor-greta-bly Blue and Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine! are chilly blues to add a pop of color to darker fall outfits.

• The white colors, Berlin There Done That, My Very First Knockwurst, and Don’t Pretzel My Buttons, look better on tan bodies, but look wonderful when worn with reds and blacks for a night out with a fall drink in hand!

The James Bond OPI Collection is also out in stores, with seductive and dangerous shades that are dark and tempting for a cozy night by the fire or a daring night out. You Only Live Twice and Live and Let Die are my personal favorites – they are a dark maroon and green, respectively, that scream fall!
Enjoy the fall hues and bundle up!
