Meet Emory sophomore, Malcolm, who comes to us from just a few miles away in Stone Mountain, Georgia. With a biology major and a visual arts minor, he’s got some exciting aspirations! Read up on this (single!) cutie’s dream job, unique hobbies, and more!

Her Campus Emory (HCE): If you could be any superhero, who would you be and why?
Malcolm (M): Mr. Fantastic! For obvious reasons.

HCE: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
M: In LA as the Clippers team Surgeon.

HCE: What is the most confusing thing that girls do?
M: Like guys that treat them like Mista treats Celie (Color Purple reference).

HCE: If you were to get a superlative, what would it be?
M: Most likely to marry a cougar.

HCE: What is your favorite thing about Emory? Least favorite?
M: Favorite: Freshman that give me their tray to get into the DUC. Least favorite: There’s like no security here.

HCE: What are your hobbies?
M: I enjoy painting batiks, chalking political satire, and making fun of Simi’s appearance.

Jessica lives her life at several speeds. She talks too fast, eats too slow and over-analyzes too much.  When she’s not telling long-winded stories, sitting alone at the dinner table, or staring off into space, Jessica loves all things creative. Screenwriter, play director and poet at age 9, songwriter and choreographer at age 16, now, at 23, all she really wants to do is write, help others, and post Instagrams.  As a social media coordinator for multiple fashion brands, and a post-grad writer for Her Campus, she gets to do just that. Jessica is a Midwestern girl from the suburbs of Chicago, but she fell in love with city living during a summer internship in the Big Apple, and now calls NYC home. Jessica loves chocolate milkshakes, dance parties, Chippewa Ranch Camp, Friends re-runs, Chuck Bass and of course, spending time with her fans (read: family and friends).
