Work clothing can get boring after a while. How many times can you look at a black suit or a gray skirt and get excited? Especially when you look the same as everyone else? If your work place allows (as they should or else they are sooooo 20th century), spice up your collared shirt or blazer with brooches and baubles! Strings of colorful jewelry or pearls look great when worn over a formal shirt, and add a touch of bling and sass to an otherwise plain ensemble. If necklaces aren’t your thing, add a festive pin to your lapel to make you look sophisticated and stylish, but stay away from pins your grandma would wear (so no holiday-themed ones, please!). And how can your boss possibly get upset with you when you look so good?
