Candles, candles, candles.

Call me basic, but you cannot deny the fact that a Fall aesthetic is incomplete without a Bath and Body Works candle. Lighting a candle completely elevates your “adulting” life and leaves your room smelling absolutely delicious. Next time your friends are over, they’ll note that you’re truly the hostess with the mostess.

Going from Iced to Hot.

A simple but necessary transition. As the weather gets colder, your drinks will inevitably get warmer. Head to your local pumpkin patch with a hot salted caramel mocha in one hand and maple pecan latte in the other. You’ll thank me later.

Embracing the Darker Hues.

You’ll start to notice yourself gravitating towards warmer ambers, darker plums, and jewel toned hues. Embrace the change and swap out your ballerina pink manicure with a rich wine red.

Cozy up in Layers.

Fall calls for well executed layered outfits. To start things off, pick your neutrals and play it up with textures. A go-to ensemble is a transitional turtleneck tee paired with a corduroy skirt. Layer it up with a chunky knit cardi and accessorize with some cute booties and gold jewelry. You’ll be turning heads as a head-to-toe Fall fashion icon.

Lather up.

Whenever transitioning between seasons, I notice my skin and hair feeling especially dry. The answer to my prayers? Coconut oil! Totally cost efficient and multipurpose, coconut oil is one of the best natural moisturizers for both hair and skin. A lifesaver for the Fall.
