5 Ways to Protect Yourself from the Atlanta’s Summer Heat

As the seasons of the year change, so do the ways in which individuals must take care of themselves – especially when summer rolls around. Transitioning from rain coats and rain boots to kimonos, straw hats and sandals is a wonderful feeling – but only if it is done in a way which protects yourself from the sun. So, here are five helpful products to use this upcoming summer to protect yourself from Atlanta’s scorching sun. 

1. Sun Bum Protecting Sunscreen: Sun Bum is a relatively newer brand of sunscreen which prides itself in upholding a maximum amount protection from the sun, while also making it look as if your day spent at the beach was a success! Sun Bum comes in differing forms (face stick and spray) and is a definite must for summer 2015. 

2.  Protective Tanning Lotion: Maui Babe’s Browning Lotion is a brand of tanning lotion, which is noted for being one of the safest ways to appear sun kissed.  

3. Sun Hats: Sun hats, especially with a protecting and wider sized brim, are a very important essential for summer’s heat. Not only does a sun hat protect your face, neck and body, but it also adds a touch to any outfit. 

4. Baseball Hats: Another alternative, and a more common one, is to wear a beach chic baseball hat.  A simple hat like such rids the potential of sunburn while adds to any beach look. 

5. Kimono as a Cover Up: Cover-ups are an important essential to add to your summer closet to protect your entire body from the sun. This summer, kimonos are the newest and most trendy way to do so.
