The big turkey day has now passed, and for those who wait until after Thanksgiving to officially start getting pumped about Christmas, the first thing on our to-do list is usually to put up the Christmas tree.

There are two kinds of Christmas tree people: the fake tree huggers and the real tree huggers. For the fake tree huggers, putting up the tree means lugging out the big bag out of the basement, which is most likely buried behind a thousand other things, that you then have to assemble. For the real tree huggers that means embarking on the adventure and engaging in the Christmas experience of picking a real tree. As a real tree hugger, I strongly believe that your Christmas experience is always better when you get a real tree specifically at a small town farm rather than Lowes. Here’s why…

O’Christmas Tree, O’Christmas Tree…

The sure abundance of real trees will make your heart sing and the aroma of firs and pines will intoxicate you with Christmas spirit.

The feels

The feel of the real pine needles will hit you hard in the Christmas feels.

Did Someone say Christmas?

The plethora of Christmas decor will have you feeling like you’re in a Hallmark movie, and it’s downright magical.

Accomplished

There’s something about getting a Christmas tree on top of your car and tying it down that leaves you feeling like you can do anything. Especially, if you get the awesome opportunity to cut it down yourself.

Mmmm…Smells like Christmas

Nothing feels like home like the smell of a real, fresh Christmas tree.

So, if you’re in the mood for some major Christmas feels and you want your home to smell like Christmas, get yourself to a Christmas tree farm and step into your Christmas adventure.
